Mr. Richard M. Scibelli, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Scibelli has served as Yardney Technical Products, Inc. Chief Executive Officer since May 1990 when he led a private management buy-out of Whittaker-Yardney Power Systems Division, Whittaker Technical Products, Inc. He served as President of W-YPS and worked for Whittaker and/or Yardney from 1965-1977.
Mr. Vincent A. Yevoli Jr, President and Chief Operating Officer, has been with the company since 1992 and has led several product development efforts, negotiations of contracts, union negotiations, acquisitions, divestitures, and is responsible for overall company growth.
Ms Janice Donovan, Vice President/Controller, joined the Yardney organization in 1990. Prior to assuming her present position she served Yardney as General Accounting Manager.
Mr. Tuan Duong, Director of Operations joined the company in 2004. He was last employed as a Senior Project Engineer at Northrop Grumman in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. He brings considerable management experience with an emphasis on automating/streamlining processes.
Mr. Alexander P. Karpinski, Division Vice President, Silver-Zinc Engineering and Special Projects , has been with the company for over thirty years and has acquired a vast amount of experience while working in various technical and senior management positions.
Alexander (Fred) Thompson, Director of Product Assurance and the Manager of the Product Test Group, has been directly involved in many of Yardney's battery development programs for thirty years and was instrumental in updating our quality system to compliance with AS9100.
Mr. Kris Johanessen (Lt Col, Ret.) Director of Business Development has been with the company since 2003. He joins us after a successful career in the United States Air Force, where he served in a variety of space and missile operational and program management specialties.
Mr. Frank Puglia, Director of Research and Development has an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the URI and over fourteen years of experience in the battery industry He served as PE and PM on several development programs including the Advanced SEAL Delivery System (largest Li-Ion battery) and NASA's Mars Exploration Rovers (the first Li-Ion batteries on Mars).

Dr. Robert Gitzendanner - Executive Director, Lithium Engineering was the Principle Investigator on the MSP01 Mars Lander Battery program that led to the development of the first Space Qualified Lithium-ion Battery. Prior to coming to Lithion in 1997, Dr. Gitzendanner completed his doctorate at Cornell University. Dr. Gitzendanner has authored/co-authored more than twenty papers/publications relating to lithium-ion battery technology.
