A battery industry leader has position for a Mechanical Engineer for Battery Research . The successful candidate will possess at least a BSME with experience in material selection and compatibility. Responsibilities include research and design of enclosures for new battery chemistries. Knowledge of chemistry and electrochemistry helpful but not required. Prior experience with static sealing a plus. Candidate should have a working knowledge of injection molding, metal stamping, and machining processes. Position will be at our Pawcatuck, CT facility and then at our new East Greenwich, RI facility when we move.
